Coming-of-age survivalist drama, RETREAT gets festival debut

New coming-of-age survivalist drama, Retreat (Réduit), is having its World Premiere at Mar del Plata International Film Festival today & its’ European Premiere at Thessaloniki International Film Festival on November 11th.

Retreat is directed by Leon Schwitter, who makes his feature-length directorial debut and stars Peter Hottinger and Dorian Heiniger.

On a holiday in the mountains, an estranged father and son get to know each other better. Sheltered by the rocky landscape, Michael believes that he and his son are safe from the outside world, which is crumbling under the impact of environmental destruction and economic crises.
