Fast and Furious 9 in 4K HDR, A Quiet Place Part II in 4K HDR, Luca and The Father join Rakuten TV in August

This August viewers will be treated to a selection of top-class movies, including the much awaited A Quiet Place II (4K HDR), Disney and Pixar’s triumph Luca (4K HDR), the ninth film of the famous franchise Fast and Furious 9 (4K HDR), devastating dementia drama The Father, hilarious action sequel The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard (4K HDR), heartfelt drama Minamata and family comedy Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (4K HDR).

Rakuten TV’s mixture of new releases, free ad-supported content and TV series guarantees viewers can find whatever they are in the mood for, with a wide selection of dramas, romantic comedies, kids films and action thrillers available at the touch of a button.

Fresh from the cinemas, brand new Premium Releases available to rent this month include the hilarious The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard starring Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson and Salma Hayek, as well as the spine-chilling sci-fi thriller Demonic directed by Neill Blomkamp.

Achieving a new box-office record this summer, A Quiet Place Part II starring Emily Blunt and directed by John Krasinski is the action-driven, thrilling sequel that audiences have been waiting for. The Stand In sees Drew Barrymore at her best in a hilarious black comedy about a dissatisfied comedy actress and her ambitious stand-in.

One for the kids after a long day of playing outside is Luca, the well-crafted, gorgeously animated adventure story that takes audiences to the breezy coastline of Italy in a charming sea-monster story. Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway (4K HDR) only continues the excitement as this animated adventure is a fun and entertaining sequel that is amusingly self-aware.
