Nike brings the filming community together with their commercial in Bow!

Global clothing giant, Nike recently filmed their latest commercial in Tower Hamlet’s Bow in April along one of our private streets – Stroudly Walk. In the shoot, they film their action involving a group of runners attached to a car with bungee cords! The commercial used a variety of shots set along the private paved area with great success, plus we brought the whole community onboard with the action – many hands make light work!

 

The Film Office, working with Poplar Harca, contacted one of their local community centres in Poplar called Spotlight, who assisted by putting forward two young enthusiastic film students to help with filming on the day. The two students got the chance to work in each department of the shoot, looking at the various cameras and then a one-to-one chat with the directors as they prepared to film for the day.
