SALVABLE | Shia LaBeouf & Toby Kebbell star in tense British boxing drama
VERTICAL is excited to announce that their knockout British boxing drama SALVABLE will be available On Demand from 14th July.
Featuring a standout cast including BAFTA Nominee Toby Kebbell (RocknRolla, Fantastic Four), Shia LaBeouf (HoneyBoy, The Peanut Butter Falcon) & James Cosmo (Game Of Thrones, Braveheart), the film has already received a strong critical response with MovieWeb calling the film “a gritty, slice-of-life boxing drama”.
SALVABLE is an emotionally charged story about a man trapped by his past, fighting for a future that may already be lost. At its heart, it’s a raw exploration of fatherhood, failure, and the desperate search for second chances.
Sal “The Bull” (Kebbell) was once a rising star destined for greatness. Now, nearing 40, he’s worn down—just another face in the quiet, dead-end town of Still, scraping by as a part-time care worker. Life has reduced him to a shadow of who he once was, living in the wake of opportunities squandered and choices unmade.
When Sal decides to finally step up and be a father to his estranged teenage daughter, Molly—a sharp, rebellious girl he hardly knows—he’s confronted with the reality of their fractured relationship and the growing fear that she’s heading down the same troubled path he once walked. His bond with her is fragile at best, but it becomes the one thing anchoring him to the hope of a better life.
Everything shifts when Vince (LaBeouf), a ghost from his past, returns. Vince offers Sal a way out of the monotony, pulling him into a world of crime and dangerous promises. For the first time in years, Sal feels a flicker of the fight he once had. But it comes with a cost. As Sal gets deeper, he finds himself battling for his soul on two fronts—trying to rebuild something with Molly while being dragged further into the violent, chaotic world Vince inhabits. The closer he gets to escape, the more everything slips away. In the end, the walls start closing in, and Sal has to decide whether redemption is worth the price.

Excited about the release, production teams Lowkey Films & Featuristic Group said: “Salvable was shot in the heart of Wales, scored in Ireland and brought to life in England, so we are proudly a British film. With this in mind, we’re beyond excited to have Vertical steering the release on our home soil. With their passion and expertise for giving films the widest reach possible, we’re confident that audiences across the UK will have the opportunity to connect deeply with the same rich tapestry of characters on screen that moved us from our very first read of the script.”
