According to findings, the magical movie franchise ranks in third place for the highest grossing film franchise, with a box office takings score of 8.9 out of 10 (and just a smidge of the transportation helper Floo Powder).
The eight-film series has totalled $9.7B (£8.3) in box office profits on its journey from its first film Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone in 2001, to its last Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2 in 2011.
Leading the way as the highest grossing film franchise is Marvel, with an impressive box office takings score of 10 out of 10.
Star Wars secures its spot as the second biggest box office earner, with a respectable 9.5 out of 10.
