This October, a whole host of Halloween cinematic horrors and brand-new movies straight from the cinema are on offer on Rakuten TV, including the highly anticipated Free Guy, The Mauritanian, Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins and Escape Room: Tournament of Champions.

Viewers will be treated to a wide-array of premium must-watch films straight from the cinema, including Ryan Reynolds smash-hit Free Guy, which is available in 4K HDR. The comedy, which also stars Jodie Comer and Taika Waititi, centres on a bank teller who discovers he is actually a background player in an open-world video game and decides to become the hero of his own story…one he rewrites himself. In addition, Kevin Macdonald’s powerful and BAFTA-winning The Mauritanian recounts the tale of Mohamedou Ould Slahi and his fight for freedom starring Tahar Rahim and Jodie Foster, while Gia Coppola’s wonderful comedy-drama Mainstream, starring Andrew Garfield, follows a young woman who finds a path to Internet fame through YouTube, but encounters the dark side of becoming a viral celebrity. Viewers who want to immerse themselves in action can revel in Vinnie Jones’ Rise of the Footsoldier: Origins, the prequel tale that follows the origin story of how Tucker, Rolfie, and Pat Tate unite to form their own firm.
