Film London has announced Michelle Jenkins as its new Head of Production Services.

Michelle joins from Network Rail, where she managed filming across the organisation’s national estate and assisted high-profile titles such as Mission Impossible 6: Fallout and The Crown. Prior to this she worked for location management service Film Fixer; London’s Royal Parks and, from 2003-2007 Film London itself, where she was instrumental in setting up and launching the agency’s successful London Filming Partnership – a unique network of 500+ public and private bodies, companies and locations that work together to ensure London is able to deliver for major film and TV productions.

As Head of Production Services Michelle will head up Film London’s Filming and Locations team, championing and promoting London as a destination for filmmaking to potential film and TV clients. This is a pivotal role for Film London, as the city generated some £1.25billion of inward investment spend for the city in 2017 alone. She will be responsible for the day-to-day management and logistics of filming across London, and ensure London maintains its status as one of the world’s most film-friendly cities. She will report directly to Helena Mackenzie, Film London’s Head of Inward Investment and Business Development.
