Star-studded British fantasy drama Come Away is set to get its cinema release this December

Synopsis: Directed by Brenda Chapman, the Oscar™-winning director and co-writer of Disney Pixar’s Brave and written by Kate Goodhill, COME AWAY is a whimsical and inspiring British made live-action fairy-tale, set for release this December.

Starring David Oyelowo (Selma), Anna Chancellor (Four Weddings and a Funeral), Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle), Reece Yates (Les Miserables), Angelina Jolie (Maleficent), Michael Caine (The Dark Knight), and newcomers Keira Chansa and Jordan A. Nash (Aladdin), the film follows the adventures of siblings Alice and Peter who transform into Peter Pan and Alice in Wonderland in a bid to help their parents – played by Oyelowo and Jolie – overcome the tragedy of losing their eldest son.

Peter and Alice find strength in the power of their imaginations and set off on a real adventure to try and rescue the family – escaping to a destiny of eternal boyhood in the distant isle of Neverland – whilst Alice delves into a world of Wonderland.

Having received its world premiere earlier this year at Sundance Film Festival, the film has been described as “terrific” and “standout” by The Times, COME AWAY is a unique and ingeniously conceived prequel to two of the world’s most beloved and enduring pieces of children’s literature.
